D = Doors [ Doors & windows closed ]

Before Starting

  1. Fuel Pumps ON

  2. Hydraulics ON

  3. Anti Collision Light ON
Starting

  1. Call Outs
Starting

  1. Packs OFF

  2. Pneumatic Pressure Check

  3. Time Check

  4. Note Peak EGT
Before Taxi

  1. FMA Annunciations

Cruise

CAT E VFR checks:

A = Altimeter Hourly Checks (RVSM)

T = Tandem Tuning of NavCom Frequencies

E = Engine Data:

- Cruise data log
- Full power takeoff log

V = Volmets

F = FIRs

R = Rudder Trim

ACDC checks:

A = ATIS

C = Card for Landing Data

D = Descent Forecast in FMC:

Winds, QNH & Anti-ice usage

C = Contact Company for:

ETA, A/C Status & Arrival Fuel
Before TOD

  1. Pressurization check

  Pressure + Radio Altimeter & ASI

- Brakes [ Select Auto Brakes ]

- Briefing

Descending

PPTT checks:

P = Pressurization

P = Profile for Descent

T = Ten Thousand Feet

  1. Lights

  2. Passenger Signs

  3. Profile Check - 30 miles, 250 knots

T = Transition Level

Cleared for Approach

Y checks on Intercept Heading:

Landing

  1. On Glide Slope Alive:

    - Gears Down

    - Speed Brake - ARM

    - Flaps 15

    - Eng start switches - CONT

    - Landing Lights ON



  2. On Glide Slope Capture:

    - Flaps 30

    - Set Missed Approach Alt

Go-Around (2 Engine)

  1. Press TOGA - Set Go-Around Thrust

  2. Flaps 15

  3. Positive climb - Gears UP

  4. Verify Missed Approach Altitude Set

  5. 400 feet - T T T checks:

    - Turn Mode [HDG select / LNAV]
    - Tune [Nav Frequency]
    - Track [Course for Missed Approach]

  6. Acceleration Height:

    - Accelerate to Speed 210
    - Retract Flaps on Schedule
    - Verify FMA changes & Climb Thrust

  7. Select LVL CHG

  8. Verify Missed Approach Altitude Captured

  9. After Takeoff Checklist
Landing Roll

  1. Check Speedbrakes

  2. Check 60 Knots
After Landing

  1. Speed Brake Down (Capt)

  2. APU ON (as needed)

  3. Pitot static heat - OFF

  4. Pressurization - GRD

  5. Lights as required

  6. Engine start switches - OFF

  7. MCP Speed - Dial down

  8. Auto Brakes - OFF

  9. Flaps - UP

  10. Transponder - As Required

  11. Weather Radar - OFF (Capt)
Taxi After Landing

  1. Lights

  2. Electrical on APU

  3. Check Brake Pressure (near congested areas)
Shutdown

  1. Altimeter Readings (RVSM)
Shutdown

  1. Parking Brakes - ON

  2. Electrical Power - On APU or GPU

  3. Engines - CUTOFF

  4. Chocks ON - Brakes Released

  5. Seat Belts Sign - OFF

  6. Anti Collision Light - OFF

  7. Cabin Announcement

  8. Fuel Pumps - OFF

  9. Galley Power Switch - As Required

  10. Anti-Ice - OFF

  11. Hydraulics - OFF

  12. Pneumatic Panel - SET

  13. Lights - As Required

  14. APU - As Required

  15. Flight Directors - OFF
