F27 Go-around and Callouts

F27 Go-around Procedure and Call Outs

Following are the Tasks and Call Outs for Pilot Flying (PF) and Pilot Not Flying (PNF) in an F27 go-around.

1. Two Engine Go-around

PF - Apply Full Power and Rotate
PF - Call Flaps 16
PF - Call Gear UP
PNF - Call Acceleration
PF - Accelerate to the required speed
PNF - Call VFR
PF - Call Flaps UP
PNF - Call Flaps UP (when flaps are up indicated)
PF - Call Climb Power
PF - Call Water Off
PF - Call for After Take-Off Checklist at Circuit Altitude


2. Single Engine Go-around - Wet Power

PF - Full Power and Rotate
PF - Call Flaps UP
PF - Call Gear UP
PF - Climb at VTHR to Acceleration Height
PNF - Call Acceleration
PF - Accelerate to VFC
PNF - Call VFC
PF - Call Trim up 25%
PF - Call Water Off
PF - Call Reset MCP
PF - Climb to Circuit Altitude at VFC
PF - Call After Take-Off Checklist


3. Single Engine Go-around - Dry Power

PF - Full Power and Rotate
PF - Call Flaps UP
PF - Call Gear UP
PF - Call Trim UP MCP
PF - Climb at VTHR to Acceleration Height
PNF - Call Acceleration
PF - Accelerate to VFC
PNF - Call VFC
PF - Climb to Circuit Altitude at VFC
PF - Call After Take-Off Checklist
