Practicing an approach to Stall and Recovery in an F27 (landing configuration) requires the following:

Pre-Requisites:

- Airspeed Bug - VTHR

- Altitude - Between 8,000 and 10,000 feet

- Airspeed - Above 140 KIAS

- Power - 100 psi Torque

Configuration:

- Maintain Level Flight

- At 140 KIAS - Flaps 16 and Gear Down

- At 130 KIAS - Flaps 26

- At 110 KIAS - Flaps 40

- NO Pitch Trim below VTHR

Onset of Stick Shaker and Recovery:

- Full Power

- Call for Flaps 16

- Decrease Pitch Attitude to 5 degrees (approx) nose up attitude

- Let the speed build up to VTHR

- Climb to regain the lost altitude (when the speed is VTHR)

- Positive Climb - Gears UP

- On VFR - Call Flaps UP

- Reduce to Climb Power

- After Take-Off Checklist
