LEBL/BCN ARRIVAL

Preferential Runways:

Between 0700-2300LT: Rwy 25R

Between 2300-0700LT: Rwy 02

Speed Restriction:

250 at SLP
230 in holdings below FL 140
220 when leaving IAF
ATC will request slow down to 180 for ILS intercept.
160 from 8 till 4 DME on ILS.

LVP:

Tower will supply RWYs in use RVR directly, in accordance to the following order: (RVR A: TDZ), (RVR B: MID) and (RVR C: END).

During CAT II/III approaches, at 2NM from TDZ, without landing clerance - Execute a Missed Approach.

Communication Failure:

"Missed Apch with Lost Comm" procedure to be initiated at MAP not before.

At least one holding at SLL, VIBIM or RULOS (relative to the applicabe RWY).

Then new approach and land.

Reverse Thrust use b/w 2300-0700LT:

RWYs 07L/25R and 02 - Above Idle Not Allowed, except for safety reason (which must be notified to the environment department).

RWYs 07R/25L - Above Idle Not Recommended.

Rapid Runway Exits:

10-1P7

Note:

a) When arrival runway is 25R, leave the landing RWY to the North (regardless of the assigned terminal). Exits to the South are not available. Notify when LSA is vacated, as well as position, soon after leaving behind the last yellow marker (alternate series of green and yellow markers) of the RWY exit centerline. Hold in this position keeping a safety distance from the TWY T and outside the LSA.

b) Intersection of RWY 02 and 07L to be cleared quickly if crossed operations are in progress.

c) In LVP: Vacate from exits with center lights switched on.

Transponder:

Transponder ON / TCAS OFF until parked at stand.

Standard Taxi Routes:

10-1P8

General Taxiing Direction:

10-1P5

West Configuration (Arr Rwy 25R):

TWY D,E - South

TWY J,S - West

TWY K,M - East

TWY N,T - Bidirectional

East Configuration (Arr Rwy 07L):

TWY E - South

TWY J,K,N,S - West

TWY M - East

TWY T - Bidirectional

In LVP: For general taxi direction refer to 10-1P2 till 10-1P4.

General Ground Movement:

10-1P2, 10-1P3 and 10-1P4

APU:

Stands in Contact with Terminal: Shut down APU 2 min after Blocks ON.

Remote Stands: For wide body aircraft, shut down APU 15 min after Blocks ON (for others its 10 min).

Stand Number:

PIA: F45 (its 4 and 5 i.e. in b/w them and not Forty Five) at Terminal 2 (If someone has experienced something else then let me know or post it in this forum)

Others: Let me know or post it in this forum


LEBL/BCN DEPARTURE

APU:

Stands in Contact with Terminal: Can start APU 5 min before Off-Blocks time.

Remote Stands: Wide body aircraft can start APU 50 min before Off-Blocks time (for others its 10 min).

Delivery:

15 min prior to EOBT or modified EOBT incase a CTOT has been received (not earlier than 15 min).

1) Report Type and Series of A/C, Stand, ATIS info.
2) Request Delay information for engine start-up.
3) Report for any restrictions to comply with local regulations (e.g. RNAV equip, takeoff performance etc).

Ground:

Be ready before calling. EOBT must be actualized and ETOT/CTOT must be accomplished to avoid flight plan cancellation.

Report on first contact:

1) A/C TYPE, if wingspan 170 ft or above and height 54 ft or above.
2) If full RWY length (25R or 07L) is required (standard intersectons are Z,Y for 25R and W,V for 07L).

Be ready for pushback or taxi within 5 minutes to the approved start-up time or advise ATC.

Transponder:

Transponder ON / TCAS OFF from request for push-back or taxi, whichever is earlier (basically before any a/c movement).

Standard Taxi Routes:

10-1P9 and 10-1P10

Use standard taxi routes unless advised otherwise.

General Taxiing Direction:

10-1P5

West Configuration (Dep Rwy 25L):

TWY D,E - South

TWY J,S - West

TWY K,M - East

TWY N,T - Bidirectional

East Configuration (Dep Rwy 07R):

Note:

Noise Abatement:

1) Nominal trajectory of SID until 6000 ft, Except:

Over sea.
3500 ft in climb and moving away from coastline.
More than 3nm from coastline (parallel to it).

2) RNAV SIDS for A/C able to reach min altitudes in relevant points on initial SID segments.

3) NADP-1 (thrust 800, cleanup 3000) if cannot comply with point (2) above or for conventional SIDS.
