A Boeing document on RNP - Download
Sorry, this document has been removed and is not available online
Required Navigation Performance (RNP) operations are achieving greater acceptance and recognition as one of the most important tools for improved airspace management and air traffic operations. It has become clear that there remains much confusion about the definition of RNP and RNP systems, and how to proceed. This document provides one perspective supporting operational implementation through information on the general aspects of the concepts for RNP and RNP Area Navigation (RNP RNAV), RNP operational applications, Boeing RNP Certified System capabilities, and considerations for operational approval. The document includes frequently asked questions, flight path terminators information, WGS-84 assessment, chart examples and a presentation introducing RNP.
