EGCC/MAN ARRIVAL

Speed Recommendations:

210 - 240 KT - Intermediate approach.
160 - 180 KT - 12 nm from touchdown.
160 KT - 8 to 4 nm from touchdown.

Noise Abatement Speed Recommendations:

Between 2200-0600 LT

210 KT - During approach.
160 - 180 KT - Closing heading to ILS LOC.
160 KT - On ILS LOC till 4 miles

Runways:

Requesting Rwy 05R/23L outside dual runway segregated hours can take up to more than 30 mins in bringing it back to service.

Rwy 05L/23R has a convex profile, with highest point abeam taxiway G/HZ. Landing on 23R, the apex lies 2300 feet into the TDZ.

Rwy 05L CAT II Approach for Aicraft Cat A and B only.

Reverse Thrust:

Avoid especially between 2300-0700LT except for safety reasons.

Rwy 05R Arrival:

Vacate runway no later than VB and proceed direct to taxiway V.

Vacating at VA or T will infringe ILS critical area.

Taxiway S not to be used.

Rwy 05L Arrival:

Taxiway F available as an exit during daylight only.

Taxiway D not avaialble as an exit.

Rwy 23R Arrival:

TWYs D and F are not available as exits.

Taxi:

Turning circle Juliet (Rwy 05L/23R) for use upto A380.

Turning circle Mid (Rwy 05R/23L) for use upto B767.

Both require clockwise turns unless directed otherwise by ATC.

Use of APU:

Fixed Electrical GPUs must be used where available, use of GPUs and APUs should be limited.

Stand Number:

PIA: 210 (If someone has experienced something else then let me know or post it in this forum)

EGCC/MAN DEPARTURE

Use of APU:

Fixed Electrical GPUs must be used where available, use of GPUs and APUs should be limited.

Delivery:

Notify delivery on first contact if Rwy 23L starter extension (Twy T intersection takeoff) is required.

For CTOT calculation cater for 10 min or more delay during rush hours.


Ground:

Call Sign, A/C Type and Stand Number required for push and start request (when fully ready to move).


Noise Abatement:

Supplimentary to noise abatement techniques are noise preferential routes and procedures which are depicted on chart 10-4 and SID charts.

Between 2330-0600 LT, depart from the most westerly link available. Link A to be used for Rwy 05L departure.

No turns after takeoff below 760 feet.

Min climb gradient of at least 500 fpm.
