Follow these steps for executing Steep Turns in an F27:

Stabilize in a Level Flight:

- Speed 160 KIAS

- Torque 180 psi (approx)

Start the Turn:

- At 30 degree bank, increase elevator back pressure and add about 20 psi power

Maintain the Turn:

- Hold constant bank angle of 45 degrees on Artificial Horizon

- Maintain height on the Altimeter

Roll Out:

- Lead the roll out heading by 1/3rd of the bank angle (approx 15 degrees)

- Release back pressure when rolling out of 30 degree bank

- Be prepared to add a little forward pressure to maintain altitude

- Reduce power to maintain 160 KIAS
